Saluki Startup gives new students an opportunity to engage with one another and take part in campus activities. You will be given the tools to enhance your academic, social and cultural experiences.
Weeks of Welcome
Weeks of Welcome (WOW) offers all new and returning students programs and events that allow them to connect with peers, faculty, staff, campus departments and community organizations.
Saluki Sprint
Saluki Sprint is an opportunity to introduce the newest class of Salukis to the returning alumni, University and the Carbondale community as they run the football field prior to kickoff at the first home Saluki football game.
Welcome Fest
SIU, Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, and Carbondale Main Street often partner to offer local businesses a chance to talk with new students, family members, and guests.
